Disabled Access & Facilities

The museum’s exhibits are on two floors and there is a lift available which can comfortably accommodate visitors in wheelchairs. There is a small exhibition in a cellar which is accessed from the Victorian kitchen which is not suitable for wheelchairs. However there is a ‘virtual tour’ of this exhibit close by which you can use to view it. Other than this all parts of the museum are easily available to all visitors.

The museum also has a wheelchair available for the use of visitors. Please ask at reception.

If you find that our facilities are not helpful for your disablement or that they could be improved upon, please seek out a member of staff who will be happy to note your comments. The Trustees are committed to making the facilities of this museum available to all and suggestions will be acted upon where possible.

Enjoy your visit.
